DIY Dewey Goodness: An Aura Cacia Inspired Facial Mist
Aura Cacia’s Illuminate Facial Care Oil is one of my go-to tools for self-made self-care. I appreciate how AC’s has already blended so many of my favorite oils (like grapefruit, bergamot, and coriander) all in one bottle. There’s plenty of recipes online on how to use this oil, but I’ve revamped one of Aura Cacia’s own recipes to make a facial mist perfect fit for sun-kissed skin―think “dewy-glow” in a single spray.
Ingredients:
20 drops Aura Cacia Illuminate Essential Oil Blend
1 teaspoon organic rosehip oil
2 teaspoons organic aloe (Steer clear of green-washed aloe that has DMDM Hydantoin and Diazolidinyl Urea. Aubrey’s Organic or Radha are some brands I’ve used.)
1.5 fluid ounces distilled water
Amber glass mist bottle 2 fl. oz (I’ve been eyeing some new bottles for this spray from Etsy Studio)
Instructions
1. In your mister bottle, combine the rosehip oil and the Illuminati Oil. Shake.
2. Next, add the organic aloe and about 1.5 fl oz of distilled water.
2. Replace lid and shake well until blended. Before you mist-away, remember to reshake the bottle too.
